Adnams Southwold 10k race

2Cs are once again entering into the spirit of things and will be going for ‘gold’ in the Adnams sponsored Southwold 10k race.  Following on from our success last year when a few members of the team took part, we have seven ‘fit’ and eager employees signed up and ready to run in the event again this year.
 
Being held on Sunday 20 November 2011, the race aims to raise money for Adnams own charity, Destination Gold which is designed to inspire businesses to use the excitement of the London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games, to raise money in support of Suffolk’s most talented athletes.
 
The Suffolk Sports Aid Foundation, which is behind this major new initiative, has asked local companies to effectively ‘adopt’ an athlete, to help them in their ultimate goal of representing Team GB, and Suffolk, at the most memorable sporting event in the world – the London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games.
