Business Weekly say we have 'the broadest range of communications skills they have come across in the UK, let alone the region' and that our skills are 'no nonsense in approach but breathtaking in effectiveness'.

It's not just our communication skills that have made us a successful agency; our ability to deliver quick turnaround projects for clients makes us truly reliable. For instance, 2Cs Retail rolled a last minute client project out across every PC World and Currys store in the UK. The late go ahead required a very quick turnaround so as not to miss the DSGi December POS moratorium. These robust, high quality FSDUs were designed to be used not only for the Christmas promotions, but also to last through the busy January sales period, which is not normal for run-of-the-mill FSDUs.

In order for us to continually deliver the way we do, we are continually having to increase our operations and we've recently welcomed two more new faces within our team; Alex Wilden is our new IT Manager and Tom Barlow has joined our web development team as a Junior Developer. Alex is MCDST and MCTS qualified and will be improving our IT infrastructure, supporting our three ISO programmes (9001, 14001 & 27001), and making sure our internal IT workflow is as efficient as possible. Tom has already bolstered our busy web development team and will be working on a range of projects, supporting our 200+ client base.

Alongside new faces, we've seen the return of familiar faces, such as Jane Skelt. Most of you will remember Jane, especially if you've been lucky enough to sample one of her famous (not to mention delicious) lunches. After a break of three years she's back and it is almost as if she has never been away. Working part time Jane's role will include office administration, reception, general multi tasking and did we mention the lunches...?

Consense – no longer just for wind farms!

The Open Debate system, developed by our online consultation division Consense, is currently powering over 70 consultation projects across the UK and the world.

Consense recently upgraded the system, taking advantage of the latest technologies and adding a number of new features, making it an even more useful tool for engaging people in discussions and decision making.

As a result, the system is suitable for use in almost any scenario where user involvement and feedback is required. Together 2Cs represents a tour de force of talent, and over the last year this has been built upon courtesy of some new faces ...so, say hello to some of the best people in the business ...say hello to the new decade...

Kayas
Kayas joined 2Cs as the Head of Digital Strategy in October and has been delivering strategic solutions for our clients' digital objectives ever since. Prior to 2Cs, Kayas has worked on some of the UKs biggest brands and has delivered award-winning big budget marketing campaigns. A true digital specialist- Kayas is a well known voice in the digital marketing industry.

Sarah
Sarah joined 2Cs in July as a Project Manager as a result of the increased new business activity. Working with our first tier clients, Sarah has developed fantastic relationships with clients and ensured that their campaigns are being managed effectively. She also plays an important role preparing new business proposals for the Sales team.

Emma
Emma is the newest addition to Consense's project management team, having recently graduated from UCL in London with a BSc in Geography. Emma manages a range of consultation projects and also provides invaluable business development support through maintaining our intranet and assisting with pitches.

Laurence
Laurence joined 2Cs in August to strengthen to our flash development team. His knowledge in multimedia technology was immensely useful in the delivery of an interactive questionnaire for the successful 2009 Suffolk Summit. He is also one of resident interactive map specialists.

Becca
Becca joined us in March 2009 as a Project Manager within Consense, our online consultation division. Since then she's been instrumental in managing the design and programming of a broad range of websites primarily aimed at delivering and collecting information about the building of wind farms.

Andy
Andy joined us in September and provides his skills in Retail division of 2Cs. As a really hands on practical individual; the appointment of Andy has helped the retail guys manage the extremely busy work schedule and maintain the first class deliver of client projects.

Katie
Katie joined us in November as our resident Photographer and has been extremely busy since day one. Katie's responsible for all the photography on the soon-to-launch 2Cs website and has played a fantastic role in our creative photography activity for client projects. Her skills in photography will be invaluable for our creativity.

Allan
Allan joined us in June as a Web Developer, and as well as looking after our clients existing websites, works closely with our design teams to programme new websites. We design and build about 100 websites each year so Allan is always busy, and his day is often as varied as our client list.

Ben
Ben started with 2Cs in August. As part of the web development team, Ben's role initially was to support the web development team but through his pro-active nature and dedicated attitude he quickly moved on to developing website himself and has now earned his spot as a resident 2Cs Web Developer.

We've been busy, busy, busy

2009 was an extremely busy year for 2Cs; successful projects, team growth, new clients; it was one of the most exciting years we've had and we are on our way to ensuring that 2010 is even busier for us!

It was only when booking our Christmas party that we actually realised how much our company had grown over the year. Thanks to the new appointments we had to book an extra long table. All the new members of the 2Cs team have arrived with a real positive impact for both existing client projects and new business acquisition.

The new members that we welcome are Kayas, Sarah, Emma, Laurence, Becca, Andy, Katie, Allan and Ben. We've also got a few more members joining over the next month or two but we'll keep you posted on those individuals. You can find out more about our team by visiting the 'Our people' section.

One of the new appointments is Kayas Fayyaz, Head of Digital Strategy. With a wealth of both B2C and B2B digital marketing and commercial strategy experience for some of the UKs biggest brands, Kayas might be the ideal point of contact for your digital requirements. He'd love to speak to you... or tweet you, or catch up via LinkedIn or even read your comments via his frequent industry article posts.

We've also made a number of changes to our long-term 2Cs members- if there's one person who knows 2Cs inside out it's Julia. More often than not she's the first to arrive, and the last to leave so it was a no brainer to make Julia our new Production Director, taking control of all production across both creative and development teams. She's a brave woman, but thankfully for us she's also the best in the business!

That's the team changes out of the way... now for some of our project highlights. We delivered phenomenal success for our client, Swann, where we designed and built a highly effective retail display to show off the innovative Swann Pencam- a discreet surveillance device. As a result of our efforts, record sales figures have been attributed to this eye-catching POS display!

Our Design and Build team, who are experts in the creation of unusual exhibition stands, were tasked to build this fully functional one bedroom bungalow, complete with kitchen, bedroom, lounge, as well as a small garden! This Honeywell/MK client project was to demonstrate their heating, lighting and electrical product range. There are plans afoot to install a bathroom but this may involve the help of "Relocation Relocation".

If all that wasn’t enough... we had a crazy Christmas period over at 2Cs division, Consense. They delivered a record 10 individual community consultation websites and all were launched that same month! Consense’s new Head of Development, Andy Smith, had a well earned rest over the festive period but we know he's got his sights set on a record-breaking January!

And finally... We're launching a new 2Cs website over the next few weeks. It's currently in its final stages and we're all looking forward to the launch of our new website. The new website will provide a range of new features and will be updated on a daily basis.

That's all from us for now. All that's left to say is... happy new year from all of us at 2Cs!

2Cs delivers results once again!

2Cs have once again delivered fantastic results- this time for our client, Swann, who have launched their innovative Pen Cam product to market.

We supplied two prototype displays, both of which designed and built in-house, for the Pen Cam product and they were then launched at the national retailer Costco’s. The launch was purely set out as a trial campaign to see how the audience would take to the product. This trial run saw the product become ‘sold-out’ in only one week, which was an amazing result for a trial campaign. This success has resulted in a national roll-out across Costco’s. To add to the success of this campaign- the Swann Pen Cam will be available at Selfridges; London, Birmingham and Manchester.

The display units for Pen Cam are also launching in France from next week, at the well-known chain store Comforama. This only adds to the exposure that will be generated for Swann as a result of the POS display units.

Though this project required a great deal of attention to detail, we were able to deliver the conception and creation of the campaign within a one week timeframe.
We’re delighted with the success of the POS displays, especially as Swann is such a great client. We will certainly be looking to deliver Swann stronger results with each roll-out.

2Cs client, Origin8, wins Telegraph award!

We at 2Cs are very proud to announce that the annual Telegraph shop awards have just been released and 2Cs client, Origin8, have been awarded Best Local Food and Drink Shop by the national newspaper!

Having played a big part in Origin8’s online activity, we are delighted to hear that the company has been recognised by a national organisation for their high quality products.
